David Beckmann is young, fast, determined, always very focused with nerves of steel and is without doubt one of the most talented and promising young drivers hoping to join Formula 1.
He won the German Junior karting Championship in 2014, was the youngest driver in the ADAC Formula 4 back in 2015 and claimed the Rookie title in the series. He moved up to contest the FIA Formula 3 European championship in 2016 and set a new record, becoming the youngest Formula 3 driver anywhere in the world after celebrating his 16th birthday just a few weeks before making his debut. David went on to contest another season in the FIA F3 European championship in 2017. The aspiring young racing driver enjoyed tremendous success with Trident the following year, winning three GP3 races. He took his maiden victory at Spa-Francorchamps, a circuit that places huge demands on drivers.
David contested the FIA Formula 3 championship series during 2019 and 2020. He won two races in his second season, came sixth overall in the standings, and as a result, was marked out for promotion to the top junior racing series in formula racing. David will race for Charouz Racing System in this season’s FIA Formula 2 championship.
